Group E and Group F Conclude Their Matches

Group F begins the day at 11:00. Argentina and Nigeria face off, as do Bosnia and Iran. Group E ends the day at 3:00. Honduras take on Switzerland, and France play Ecuador.

Argentina vs Nigeria

Argentina have guaranteed themselves qualification into the next round, but apart from Messi the team hasn't shined like many thought they would. Nigeria come into the game in 2nd place in the group. They can advance with a win or a draw or a loss, as long as Bosnia beats Iran. Argentina needs to find their top gear if they want to make a run in this tournament; I think this game is when they find it. Nigeria isn't a bad side, and I think they'll advance, but Argentina should be able to win this game.

Argentina 3 Nigeria 1

Bosnia vs Iran

Bosnia come into the game already having been eliminated from their first ever World Cup. Iran are able to progress with a win combined with a Nigerian loss to Argentina. Bosnia were pegged as the 2nd best team in the group prior to this match, but their big players have failed to shine. I think that they show up for this game, Dzeko will score at least 1, and Bosnia will go home with their first ever World Cup win.

Bosnia 2 Iran 0

Honduras vs Switzerland

Honduras aren't officially eliminated yet, but they have virtually no chance of going through after their loses in the first 2 games. Against the Swiss expect them to pick up a 3rd loss. Switzerland need at least a point from this game, as well as an Ecuadorian loss to France. Switzerland shouldn't be troubled to much by Honduras.

Honduras 0 Switzerland 3

France vs Ecuador

France have been one of, if not the most impressive team of the tournament so far. Benzema has been absolutely world class. The entire team has looked fluid and dangerous. Ecuador have a chance to advance with a win but I don't think anyone but one of the giants are going to be able to beat France the way they are playing at the moment.

France 4 Ecuador 1
